Dino Bridge

Masonite Model - 1/4 scale

This CNC-cut lattice bridge, fashioned from four 4' x 8' sheets of 1/2" thick plywood, underwent testing along the Vassar Street railroad in Cambridge. The design aims to create a tension-and-release experience, symbolized by two individuals meeting in the middle and parting ways. The ornamentation of this bridge used to lock the surface sheet in place draws inspiration from the spikes and spines of a dinosaur.
