Katzenbaum

Katzenbaum is a design proposal for a new multistory office building near Zürich Hauptbahnhof. The new building provides playful office spaces that offer ample circulation around the building’s central atrium. The inclusion of irregularly inclined walls creates unconventional spaces for people to intermingle and exchange ideas. The building’s structural elements were inspired by the stability of KAPLA blocks, as well as the playful nature of a cat tree.
